I think that Torcross was the only place in Britain to have wind this weekend. I was there on Sunday on the beach all day and it was a steady 3-4 with blazing sunshine!

Today was burning with Graham in Graham and Eddies boat. Wind 14-18 knots.

Quite a lot of air and a couple of capsizes. Too knackered now to write more, sorry.

Thanks to Graham and Will for letting us play yesterday, it truly highlighted just how far hull shapes have moved on. Both are hugely fast and more than a little tippy, but niether load up like Loco downhill in a chop. That said we had a cracking time in Loco when the wind filled in afterwards( wish we put the gps on)
Once again many thanks guys.

Three cherubs raced at Whitstable yesterday. Pulsing wind of 6-10 knots most of the time. Sunny and hot.

I noticed the Musto Skiffs were waiting for each other at the end of each leg: The one in front would wait for the others to catch up and then restart. More is learnt and more fun is had at the risk of messing up someone else's race and seeming like you are not taking the club racing too seriously. What do the other whitstablists think of us adopting this practice?

After the race some blasting was done as the sea breeze kicked in - some with the wrong teams in the wrong boats - Max fun for all. My grin is topped up for a few days anyway.

The swale was the perfect substrate for blasting yesterday in the sunshine and breeze....really magic!

Not much I would conclude.  Looks like some wind, why aren't you there posing for the web cam.  With the orange theme you should show up OK.

Curious the sun does not set yet the people move!
I conclude that either you have discovered a race of super fast aliens that move at unearthly speeds or the sun has finally lost its eternal struggle with darkness and we are all doomed DOOOMED I TELL YOU!

I might be going to be to those parts and might check out the club and try and get a sail in if there are other cherubs there.

The SK4 is now fully installed at Whitstable, had a great blast last weekend with some serious wave jumping leading to no hull in the water at times (with the t foil on positive!), currently have no crew lined up so shall be looking for any willing cherrubers to come for a play! I also need to get that go in Eleanor, so some boat swapping is in order

The boat park seemed quite cherub bare, are Born Slippy and Antidote returning for the autumn?

Just waiting for the new foil and we'll be there. Boat swap would be fun, are you around this weekend? I'm busy but I know a helm who may be at a loose end.
