It's the round Sheppey race this Saturday. With a manageable but plane-able 15mph and a good direction of SW (not to much beating/running) forecast couldn't the SK4 be up for beating the monohull course record of 2h59m set by an RS800?

Is anyone going? I probably am.

Born Slippy is residing at Thornbury. R + H have kindly lent her to us while E-numbers is being repaired.
The plan is to sail tomorrow and Sunday in single wire mode with Sarah helming.

Saturday's adventure is to sail from Thornbury to the Frampton pill and back. A group of boats from Frampton will be making this trip 1 way and going up the Frampton Pill. This is about 8 feet wide and only navigable about 20 minutes either side of a 9.7m high tide.

Sunday will be a walk in the park in comparison sailing one of Thornbury's long distance races.

Still waiting for the new foil, hopefully next week. This will be the first island race we've not done for a while.

I am hoping to be at Whitstable for some SK4ing on sunday the 24th, and then Saturday the 30th (or the sunday if it suits everyone better) and it would be good to get some cherubs out for a play and to do some boat swapping as i know there are a few who want a go, i haven't sorted a crew yet so let me know if anyone is interested

On sunday 31st there is a chance that Eleanor, Riot Van and Atum will all be sailing at Whitstable.
Kevin Ellway is also coming along (Knee permitting) to have a play. We are going to see if we can borrow a RIB and get some more video footage.
I'm going to the club on sunday (17th) to make sure it's all right, but I don't think anyone would object if others wish to come and play.
