sounds like a good time was had by all and a lot of lessons learned, and plenty of questions to ask Pete about at the training!

I also feel broken today from all the crouching and stepping in and out and I know Simon was doing most of the work. Need to get fitter before the nationals.  It was interesting that the hoists got slower towards the end of each day.

Haha, I feel that! Combination of a fading strength and dying hands!

GPS tracks from the weekend:

(the top three tracks are Fri, Sat and Sun)

These are more fun than a training tool at the moment.

2660 the pasta frenzy
Back on the water? How long has it been? Was it 2003 that Davro decided to put the Frenzy on a diet and make it thinner? The Seven year rebuild?  I do remember her sitting in Dave's front room for months, or was it years, with part of the topsides missing... What's the current configuration, still flares, or wing bars and things?

Jim, there are some pics on Davro's FACEBOOK page. I'm sure if you poke him he'll be your FB friend so you can see 'em.

The last I saw, they looked a complete mess... but not sure what happened after I had left!

There are some on the WYC website but they remain to some extent a work of fiction rather than fact

I asked nicely yesterday if they would post the results for our fleet.  They have but not the set that Simon spent a lot of time calculating for them.

Sunday's racing was recorded correctly.  Saturday's results will show the boats that finished a lap early to be higher than their true position.

These results need to be correctedso we have a true result for the traveller's series.

I suggest that we also record them on the main site along with an overal table of results for the series.

I know that there was some discussion about the sailing instructions for the series.  Have any been derived yet?

So what happens when two boats are tied on points at an event?

Those results are not correct for EJ.
We had 2 DNF's on day 1 (race 1 race2)  ;D

Think we need to wait and see what the actual results looked like before we make any decisions, I can spot some issues just looking at it now. In race 2, as nice as it would be if Lucy and Matt came 2nd... they were a lap down, and I am pretty sure that in the last race we didn't finish behind Stu and Ross as I think you guys were out of position when the wind shifted etc. So with only 4 points covering 5th to 8th, those places aren't certain at all!
