The first event after the dinghy show, where if all goes to plan we will have the next generation of cherubists lining up asking for a go, we have a healthy amount of boats for sale due to new builds, and this means we are in a good position to continue the expansion of the class,

So this is the part where i ask for your help

If people willing to give demo rides could commit early we can really push on the publicity to get as many people there as possible, without leaving them watching on the shore, i will coordinate this push, and deal with interest so everyone doesn't turn up at once, and hopefully it will be a great event for both current and prospective cherub sailors!

As has been done previously, I think it would be a really good idea if we can make a 'classifieds' document which lists all of the current second hand boats on the market which we can have on the stand at the boat show. If then, we can try and get as many of these second hand boats to the blast as well, then we have a really good chance of getting the interested sailors into some of the boats so they can then part with their cash!

Let's hope the snow has cleared up by then and it is sure to be a great event!

I will try to sort the document for the stand, does anyone know where we have had stuff printed before? Also approximate numbers used. I think it would also be a good idea to ask anyone available/interested in doing a stint on the stand to put their names forward, so a roster can be sorted.

Team Stanley are happy to do a stint on the stand. We will also be at the blast weekend, possibly with the intention of a boat purchase.

We have a printer at work which is more than up to the job of printing a few sheets off. Can do double sided, folded, stapled, hole punched, a4, a3.... We pay per sheet as it is a leased machine so I can either arrange a good price or have a nice word to my boss for a better deal!

Fund dependant I will either just be at the blast or possibly might come to the show too. Just as you will know from driving down to Babbacombe it is a fair way to travel for the day, and I have another hour on top of that to get to Kingsbridge!

I will also look into bringing both boats along to the blast if I can piggy back them on the single trailer if it looks like we are short of boats.

I may well take you up on that. R was that 500 in total as I was thinking of a for sale leaflet , a 2010 events calender. Any other suggestions? Also I was going to ask Mike Cooke if he would like to advertise the E6 with a price list so people can see what a new boat costs built.

Sorry Lucy and I are busy for the blast too.

We are available for a stint at the dinghy show.

(I went the boatshow yesterday - it was incredibly quiet)

We would like to host a Chilli Challenge (with quiz and kipover capability) too.
