Eleanor will also need to be measured at some point. But we will try to weigh at home and add any appropriate lead, and our sails are old so have already been done.

For most champs you sign a declaration of having third party and that is enough. I dont think I have shown an insurance cert since I sailed a mirror in the late 1970's

Our accomidation is from Sat to Sat which meens we are homeless for the final night.
Does anybody have some room at the inn. Otherwise we may need three wise men, probably at short supply in the Cherub class.

Ross and I are taking the chateau. We will have space.

On the subject of accomodation, free camping is available in the sailing club member's gardens. However, you MUST contact me so I can give the club an idea of numbers.

Dave,

I expect you will have tried this anyway, our accom was the same but I phoned up the letting company and they arranged one extra night.  We have floor space in the lounge available but all beds are taken.......

I have some SK75 4mm Graham.  This is the unsheathed type that you can splice to make cascades etc. Not as stiff as vectran so may not be suitable for what you want to do.

I had the opportunity to visit Largo yesterday afternoon after sorting out all the work related things.

It looks lovely.

Everything is compact and close together.  if you are camping in one of the offered gardens you will be within 50 yards of the club and 10 yards of the beach.  I spoke to a passer by that I was coming up to the nationals there next week and she imeadiately found one of the club officials who lives next door to the club.  He explained everything. He will be putting up signs leading you into Lower Largo.

Boats will be stored at the top of the beach, cars can be parked in the free carpark 100 yards beyond the club.  They will mark the safe launching/landing area with flags.

The sailing area looks ideal.

Really looking forward to the event now.

have the SI.s been finalised? I did not enqire about these knowing that Stu has been doing a lot of liasing with the club.
