Nationals 2015 - ENTRY NOW OPEN
« on: October 24, 2014, 12:15:06 AM »
Nationals 2015 will be at Mumbles YC in South Wales starting on Aug 22nd for 4 days.  Shared with the Laser 4000's.   I have booked sun and F3-4.

It is a great sailing venue, a club experienced in running championships and the doorstep to the Gower for non-sailing family members.  With this much notice there is no excuse not to be there.

Further details to follow on this thread as planning develops.

I was at Swansea Uni with Sam recently - looks like a perfect bay for Cherubs

There's certainly plenty of space for blasting and if the first five weeks are anything to go by consistent good winds, just don't drink the water.  8)

Basically its a pub crawl of 9 pubs along a 2 mile stretch of the Mumbles, although it used to be 20+ pubs

There is a growing fleet of very able '97 crew/helms at chew who have  the relevant experience (in Born Slippy) but not a boat.

If anyone already knows they can't make it or has a spare boat they fancy seeing boat cared through a nationals? We can source video of the various crews who would be very keen to talk to you.
