Being at uni in Swansea I will certainly be at the nationals,  I hope to have my own boat by that time though.

As you can see Spanish is for sale so can be filled by any keen sailors that have had experience if none at all of cherubs.

Was at mumbles yacht club yesterday, looks like an awesome location for the nationals, great bar, the roof terrace will be great in the slightly warmer weather. Absolutely buzzing for this

When are the entry forms available ?

Soon, we agreed to pick up organisation at the start of June so I will be back with more news shortly.

As to socials can I suggest:

1 night there will be a shared party with the 4000's at the club with a disco or band
1 night - the Mumbles mile - a Cherub pub crawl perhaps combined with some sort of 'games' with the L4000's (though that could get quite messy!)
1 night the AGM at the club followed by a curry

For the last night what do people prefer:
a) a short prizegiving ASAp after the final race so everyone can leave
b) an evening prizegiving combined with a meal and drinks

Given it is the Nationals the committee's preference is for option B but as we are democratic and not dictators (not yet anyway) I will go with what the majority who express an opinion want.

I'd rather option b as we would stay that night anyway, it's always nice to have a good social after the event. With option A everyone scoots off.

Option B sounds good, I'll probably be hanging around in Swansea anyway

Could we re-visit an old classic for the social pub crawly thing (this also includes the  juniors)

"Charity Dress for a Tenner"
Rules are simple - you have a budget of £10 and can choose to wear a dress.

Is the hill steeper than that of Babbacombe? If not, no need for anyone to do any pushing. With or without trailers full of wet kit  ;)

Is the club "camper van" friendly?

There is a council car park just across the road from the club, and we have been able to stay there for events in the past (although that wasn't in August). But since the van will be our only vehicle, it's going to be there every day from early to late anyway.
I'm happy to investigate if that's not something the event organiser would rather do (to keep lines of communication clean)...
