Sam is doing the 3 Peaks 9/10th June so I am short-handed for Thornbury - really pleased and proud he's getting out of my mountaineering shadow tho'  :)

I still have to make flexible plans due to health issues but, if well, I'd still love to crew or helm and can offer either to crew or helm in Loco or to crew for someone in their boat. I will know fairly certainly my fitness 7-10 days before the event but it is not impossible I might have to pull out at short notice.

As a helm I am still at the capsizing stage.

I'll come and see everyone at Thornbury even if I'm not fit enough to race.

Looks like we will now be around for all of this weekend at Thornbury.  :)
As it's R's birthday on the Friday, and a fairly early start on the Saturday, thought it might be nice (weather permitting) to have a relaxed evening with BBQ and beers at Thornbury on Friday night.
All very provisional.  Will probably be a case of bring your own meat and beer and we'll source BBQ facilities.

Guess so, looking at the tide times. All the more reason to come down on the Friday night  :)

I'm planning to be at Thornbury and I'm happy to volunteer to take piccies (Roland, you can just enjoy the sailing!?) as Sam is doing 3 Peaks that weekend (what a man!)

Happy to hitch a ride in a rib and get some good(?) footage - I have a small waterproof compact but anyone can lend me other equipment they'd trust me with to get HD video or best quality stills.

Equally happy just to enjoy the scenery and watch the boats, enjoy the craic.

Coming home from South Wales on the Friday, so planning to come down Sat and likely stay for Sunday...sleep on the 'beach'? Have bivvi, will travel - never happier than when roughing it.

Planning to be at Royal Vic but waiting to book ferry until sure of health, which should become clear over next 10 days - on the gradual up currently so it should continue

Paul C.'s handheld waterproof camera is very good for rib video. We'll ask him nicely for a loan.

Please bring your techi image toys and lets see what we can get.
