Lossc have said that early arrival is not a problem as all boats will now be in the compound for the whole event. We are very welcome to use the club and have been asked that we introduce ourselves at the bar. I am speaking to Steve and Angela tonight and will ask about the possibilities of using the club on Monday for sailing.

haircut?
empty the van??

Is this the same class I used to sail in? Just stuff the gear in the back and get a damn move on. If you turn up to the Champs with too much hair some kind soul will sort that out for you... Ask Danny Johnson...

Well the inside of my van smells like the backend of a cow so the wife refused to get in it and the haircut I'd for improved aerodynamics cause I need all the help I can get!

My Spanish friend Pablo told me a story once of a great Spanish sailor who had long flowing curly hair, it was obviously very light weight but if it was windy he could take a dip and his water soaked hair would give him an edge upwind with the added righting moment!

Not sure about 'giving him the edge' but a great story :-)

Sorry I won't be attending this week, weddings, honeymoons and work have made it impossible for me to get the week off let alone not having done any sailing for months. You will no doubt have a glorious week of sun and wind in my absense so enjoy it!

Daily reports were sent to yachts and yachting. Final day just submitted. these could be coppied on to the web site by someone more capable than i.

Some great photos were taken by Eddie Mays some showing some quite close starts.

It was dificult to award some of the less serious prizes however fitting victims were found for all.

Left behind kit: we have Digby's white rash vest and a small vanity box of nuts bolts screws etc. Any takers for the latter? Digby, if you want the rashy before the inlands just let me have a postal address.
Sorry Will - I didn't see your buoyancy aid.

Thanks to everyone for a really enjoyable week. My right thigh is sporting all the colours of the rainbow but it was well worth it for the 20 knot kite run and full somersault.

Hi Will,

your buoyancy aid was left in the changing rooms, and was still there saturday after the club racing and all your fleet had gone.  I have it, washed and in my garage as things like that tned not to make it into the clubs lost and found bin! I was just about to put a post up here to see who's it was.  Let me know how you'd like me to get it back to you.
