Graph Paper
« on: October 20, 2010, 10:03:23 PM »
I'm making some scale drawings of the rig design on Strawberry.

I wonder if anyone knows where I can get hold of graph paper about A1 size?

Have you considered using Rhino and a PC?

I'm afraid I don't have the skills.

For A4 I've googled 'graph paper download' and printed my own. For A1 you could do the same and visit a print shop.

London Graphics Centre - Covent Garden. Although looking at the website page above they don't show A1. Ring them, I am sure they can get it. You won't like the price though.

Stu, attached should be a pdf of an A1 sheet with minor grid lines at 100mm intervals at a scale of 1:10.... this should fit a cherub rig.  Find someone with a plotter or alternatively print it out at any size you choose and draw to the scale of your liking.

p.s.  I did have a CAD drawing of Strawberry once upon a time, I shall have a dig for it.
