Sadly the 3D printed Trim Drone is behind Croote's polished performance.

Last night saw our first flight.  It flies - but sadly straight into a wall!

New props done and a spare arm on the printer - all should be ready to fit tonight.
Also time to upgraded to some legs that are not made form British Gas Bills!

New Poppy lineup for 2014.
Roland is pleased to say that Polly is shaping up to be the "supercrew" of 2014.

Boring video linked shows episode 2 : "Skippy get help - my centreboard has fallen out".

Another fun Sunday at Chew. Polly's hand is not too great, so looks like a couple of weeks of crew swapping ahead (drat).

Or Polly will make a contraption for her hand to sail and not hurt it

Thanks to Jamie, Digby, Todd and Polly for making Alabama3 a very memorable gig.

Saturday's sailing sadly was a mirror flat clam, so we took Maude mud bashing and then joined Marmite on Chew for what wsa a lovely afternoon of solid 3 upwards...

... It was good - Jamie should post some video to prove it :-)

Pretty good weekend. A3 had a man in a Stetson, Sunday saw the infamous CNF Still (Digby) do his thing, make perfectly fine carbon stands in to two stands of carbon. (Look at video when I make it.)
Good to see him back on the water, and also Roland swapped in for 5 minuets then remembered sailing is a silly sport and it should be replaced by tea drinking in the Olympics.
Thanks
Jamie

Took Slippy out last night with my old house mate James.

An expresso sail to remind me just how epic she Is in over 15th knots.

No photos, no video - just a massive internal grin and this post to remind me when I'm refurbishing her again.

Had an EPIC afternoon.

Paul, Ed and Marmite appeared to be locked in a fierce battle with the RS800.

Me, well I posted on FB at 11AM and pitched up with EJ. The commodore kindly decided that the day had come to try a cherub. He was brilliant. From just happening to have a spare gooseneck and bungs in his tool box to grinning like a schoolboy when EJ clicked her heals during a 3 sail 2 wire run. Even managed a full salute when two sail gybing to sort a bad hoist.

Came last in one race, played yachts and totalled the spare kite in race 2 (DNF). Grinning from ear to ear and very tired this evening. Think Paul picked up an 8 and a 3...
