Nationals transportation
« on: July 03, 2009, 04:51:22 PM »
We have a slight issue of two boats required to be transported to Devon and only 1 single trailer.  So could anyone assist by either:

a) loaning us a double stack for two weeks
or
b) stick our cherub on their double stack for the Nationals

We would of course show some appreciation in the assisters preferred currency, whether hard cash or adult beverages as I think out American bretheren term it.  We live near Queen Mary and can drop off/ collect.

Unless one or other has a mast stump or something then why not clam shell them. Old motor car tyre at each corner (wrap them in rag if you want to avoid dirty marks) second boat upside down on the first one and tie down well...

andy,
you are more than welcome to borrow my double stacker.
i am only up the road from you being based at BLYM (rickmansworth) so getting the double to you isn't a problem

James,

We will take you up on that offer, thanks very much.  Our two launching trolleys are a standard West Mersea 220 and a standard RS200 trolley - both fit onto the standard WM 220 roadbase.  Let me know if you think there will be any issue on getting them fitted or lashed on your trailer.  Please give me a call or send me a text with your number.  My mobile is zero7714 zero64 97seven.

Thanks,

Andy

my phone is dead currently, however my doublestacker will take a wm220 trolley so it wont be a issue.
can sort it all out for certain a bit closer to the time.
