Saturday was a terrifying cherub destruction darby, but with insane 25+Knt breeze and a savage two sail reach in Beans, Sunday was light and shite. Unfortunately we didnt finish a single race. It was a fun weekend though.

Please can someone volunteer to write a report of the event?

There isn't really much to report so not sure if it is worth it really! One snapped mast, one broken mainsail and some good chilli eating!

Saturday
Clearly the best sail was by Gav and Tim who nearly did an entire lap before some very inpresive de powering techniques put an end to that.
Beans used the main for target practice while shiny pottered out had a look around and came home.
The 18's were impressive and the Chillies at Mat's was good. Thanks Tim!
winds 25knts plus.
Sunday
Light and flukey winds ment the last two standing Started the first race int the crouched position.
Shiny took an early lead before Beans decided that if your name isn't Kiddle you were not welcome on the foredeck. OOps! With the wind shifting with massive holes Beans decided that the sure was the best place to be.
Shiny did just enough to win the event then followed suit.
The pub meal was very good with nice views of Portland.

Hydes have a pattern for smaller sails you know? But then again the modern fat head sails are easier to depower aren't they?  ;)
