There used to be a range of YFC bumber stickers that went something like this:-
"Young Farmers do it in wellies"
"Chairman do it up front"
"Vice chaiman do it rarely"
"Secretaries do it in minites"

So surely a few good cheruby ones  would be:-

"Cherubers do it in the garage!"
"Cherubers do it from way back"  (ref wheelie bars)
"Cherubers do it......

I'm sure someone could fill in the middle bits much better than me but could we not have something along the same lines as the mastercard adverts:

100 man hours of labour £0
Xm2 of Carbon Fibre £500
Travel expenses to the event £100
Hitting 20 knots in a boat you built yourself: Priceless

The enigmatic: "Cherub - Something for the weekend".
Is it necessary to point out that for my generation at least the phrase "something for the weekend?" was a well known euphemism for "Does sir wish to purchase any of the products of the London Rubber Company?"

Here's some more.

CHERUB : IT MUST BE LUFF

CHERUB: IN THE NAME OF LUFF

CHERUB: YOUR LUFF LIFTS ME HIGHER

LUFF ME TENDER : CHERUB

LUFF IN A COLD CLIMATE

These all lack the essential property of 'goodness' I think.

I prefer the abstract ones.

Here's something irrelevent:

There are three types of people in the world. The people who make it happen, the people who watch it happen, and the people who say, "What happened?"

Cherub: Debtless wetness since 1951.

Cherub: Be part of something small.

Cherub: Splashdown!

Cherubs do it with love.

Perhaps I should stop this!

LUFF IN A COLD CLIMATE

You undersell yourself. As puns go this is right up there. Relevant to the activity, activity location and the emotion generated by the activity. And further more it uses the literary reference to represent the true nature of Cherub ownership.  That being the ability to socially shock and end up charming all in the end.

Or you could look at it in the Orwellian way, being as Nancy Mitford took the title from Orwell's 'Keep the Aspidistra Flying,' The main theme being protagonist's romantic ambition to give up money, status, and the dismal life that results. This seems equally Cherub like!  ;D

How is this bumper sticker idea progressing? My vote definitely goes to "hold my tiller while I kiss your girlfriend"

I did not know this.
