update to information from Grafham

camping is fine, they have a portaloo outside the main building for use overnight as the clubhouse will be closed

payment will be taken on the day, cards only - no cash

photography is fine, if anyone wants to do drone footage they need to contact Anglian water authority. club rules regarding it are not to film within 50 meters of any other boat(unless you have their written permission) and not to film where Juniors are on the lake. please be aware that there is a junior event taking place on the lake on Saturday.

Please bring a mask/face covering to wear in all social situations, i.e boat rigging, launching/retrieving.
Have a mask in your buoyancy aid in case of rescue and please put this on before getting in to the safety boat.

We must practice social distancing at all practical times and of course if you feel even slightly unwell please do not attend the event.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

That was a great weekend!

Even without the brilliant weather, the sailing was excellent. But the tropical sunshine added another level to it.
My favourite part of the weekend was when Andy/Jill jumped in marmite while Paul/Charlotte jumped in usagi. I could see both of them chasing each other so I decided to join in. I had Joe White crewing at the time.

Poppy managed to catch up and pass usagi but marmite was a little trickier to get round.
So we started the sprint. Flat wiring 12-15knots shoulders back giving it all. My GPS was clocking us doing 9-11 knots upwind. Properly great fun.
Thanks
Jamie

wow what a weekend I'm still grinning 10 days later.  Wind, sunshine, heat and a great place to rig, launch and sail.  Some of the downwinds in the gusts were looong and epic.  Well done Martyn for arranging and we must have another before the Nationals next year.
