2017 Open Meeting 4 - Queen Mary SC 27-29 May

Further details to follow however in summary:


Blasting on the 27th
4 back to back races on the 28th - first start will be at 10:35am
1 longer pursuit race on the 29th - start is usually around 11:40 for Cherubs
There is a travelodge and premier inn at Sunbury Cross or as usual there is floor space at our house. 

Saturday night we will go for the traditional curry, Sunday TBC.

I may be able to get my boat there which is 97 rules, towbar dependant. Otherwise I would be able to crew for someone, especially if they are 97 rules.

Floor space van space all available.

The forecast is looking peachy at the moment.  Sun, heat and wind  ;D

Our evening suggestion is:

Saturday night the usual curry and pub visit
Sunday as the weather is looking good we thought we could have pizza and drinks in our garden/garden room.  Or alternatively go bowling and eat near there as per last year.  We will go with what the majority prefer - post your preference.   

Jill and I are going for the relaxing stay at home and drink/eat

So that was a total non-event.  After a promising Saturday with almost too much wind (Usagi topped out at 19.2 knts) Sunday and Monday had no wind whatsoever.  Racing canned.

Will try to re-organise for Autumn

Should have come to Netley, weather was great down here all weekend. So windy on Monday that we were all 4 of us sat on the windward side at one point!
