Origins of the Cherub fleet in Australia
« on: May 27, 2016, 12:02:09 PM »
I came upon this document on the Web last night. It contains some great information and photos, and describes the beginnings of the Cherub Class in Australia. There are also explanations of how the Flying Ant and Javelin fitted in to the picture.  Makes a good read if you have a few minutes to spare.

On a similar note, is there any enthusiasm for creating a "Class History" section on the forum? Could be a place for posting anything that is of interest and, say, happened more than 10 years ago. Could include boat design, previous technical experimentation, reminiscences about previous events or people. Just a thought.

Interesting read, it would be good to read more class history as to how and where the big changes have happened.
Thanks
Greg
