i14 t foil rudder with flip down stock SOLD
« on: March 04, 2015, 06:23:04 PM »
T (+) foil rudder high aspect ratio £450

Designed by tom partington, 14 designer ( ting tong hull design)

Flip down rudder stock.
A joy to launch compared to a dagger stock with a t foil halfway up.

Reason for sale is I have two newer iteration rudders and I can't justify 3.

Couple of repairs (little chips to fairing filler) to the bottom but in generally good condition.
It has been in some varied conditions and never let me down, no stress crack damage or similar.
It is particularly fast due to the high aspect vertical section, we gained on gps speeds downhill.

It has marks and cosmetic repairs as you would expect from used equipment, but still in very good working order.

Fair point, none of the 14s run the lift foil at the bottom.

I guess it is really a + foil, but they are still known as T foils.

ad amended with + naming option :)
