For anyone who's interested, the cherub which was on ebay and pointed out to Roland by Jamie, has now got a home with a me and friend. Fingers crossed it'll be on the water for some events this season.
P.S Roland, I'm still sailing with you, I'm not going anywhere :)

No indication of sail number but from around 1973 and it's glass fibre.

It's a Foreman 4C (g) by the looks of it. Very similar to 2303 which I resurrected a few years ago.

See a thread here with some info... http://www.uk-cherub.org/forum/index.php/topic,540.0.html although a lot of the pics seem to have died.

Probably some more on my facebook page though.

We sailed ours for a few years and then out grew it and it went to a new home in Cambridgeshire. The glass boats were pretty soft, and ours needed repairing where the side tanks met the floor. Held together ok and completed a drive up to Largo Bay, a nationals and a few events along with plenty of club sailing.

Don't expect too much, but it will still be a lot of fun!

I have a load of 1980's mainsails and jibs in my garage which you would be welcome to have for free. Not exactly in good condition, but serviceable. You would have to find some way of having them collected from Newcastle upon Tyne though. I used to have a Needlespar boom from that era, but I think I gave it to Roland a few years back. Do you remember R? It was a black oval section thing. I've also got a conventional kite you could have but it is very thin indeed.

Yes, picking them up may be tricky but I'm sure I can work it out.

I used to have the daggerboard and rudder off 2534, but they both got donated to Smilie to get him started when he was building Fuzzy Logic. I know the daggerboard got completely trashed at a Weymouth nationals some years ago, but there is an outside chance that he might still have the rudder I suppose. There would be no harm in PM-ing him via the forum to ask. (He's listed as Smilie in the member list, real name Jonathan). I absolutely do not want any cash for the sails. You would be doing me a favour by taking them. I'll dig them out in the next day or 2 and see exactly what is there.

I have the old board from Madge that i can't use any more due to changing the case.  if you want it.

i also have the original wood rudder blade but no stock that you can have as well.
