Thornbury Bimble
« on: June 09, 2013, 06:19:10 PM »
Does anyone have some spare carbon and expertise to help us fix our wing bar after Saturdays racing at the Thornbury open?  We were the filling in a Flying 15 sandwich on Weds evening.  Not pleasant

If you head down  on Friday evening we can have it fixed and on the water for Saturdays racing.

If you wanted to sail before Thornbury then a short drive down the M4, stick it, have tea and then drive it back (I have suitable plastic mandrel here and the repair can  be done in a single sassion and cure on the motorway).

Thanks,  we can sail with it taped together so no rush for repairs.  If you are ok to do it post racing Thornbury Saturday then that could keep us on light beer rations for an hour which may be no bad thing given previous years.....

I'll give you a call this evening.
