As the wind is so shite, let's try sailing rudderless!

Illustration of the more restrained  "English style" bear away.
Not a perfect example as the teapot appears to have parted company with the deck.

I'll put this thing on the end to get rid of it.  Can you do something with that plank. . .  I think it fits in hole near you. . .  Now what are these car keys doing down 'ere?

And the winner is....

Mr Kirk!!

I like your style. We did have a compartment for a couple of cans of Tennents in there at one stage, but champagne in glasses trumps the lot!

It's that time of year again. Short days, crap weather, too many mince pies and not enough sailing. So, the Caption Competition is back to see you through the long winter!

I'll start it off with Australian Cherub 3129 "Dragon Slayers" at the 2010-11 Nationals, held at Largs Bay, Adelaide, South Australia.

You jump from a plane, your parachute doesn't open then you land on a boat! What are the odds on that?

After accidentally letting slip that he knew about that private little tattoo belonging to the helmsman's girlfriend, Bruce decided that this would be a good time to swim for the beach.
