Question. Probably phil could answer, what's the handicap at thornbury? R all cherubs equal or differentiated for  97 and 05. We need to beat that merlin!

We normally use 975 for 97boats and the official py (920) for 05 boats.

Food is served in the local pub Anchor Inn until 9pm. We should be there by then and can take phone orders if you are pushing it.

We are hosting Dave, Lara and Elliot on Friday night and will be down on Saturday morning intending to camp Sat night.  Camping with Alex is a form of sleep deprivation so one night at a time is enough. 

Tides are middle ish so whilst still strong for most people they could be stronger.

And please don't forget your bimbling gear.  I have a little epoxy and weave left over but I think (know) I'm going to be relying on your and Rolands generousity, expertise  and supplies to really fix the rack.

We have packed the repair kit. Sadly I have to stay well clear of any wet resin, but can advise before we get the pot out.

Actually I'll be re-spraying, but prayer may also be appropriate.

And if anyone sees R near wet resin they have my permission to hit him - he'll look like he's been hit in the face if he comes into contact with it anyway.

The field has dried out.  Last weekend we were digging in new tie down chains for some of the dinghy berths and there was no water 1 foot down.

I will also bring some bimbling kit and am happy to come into contact with wet resin.

Sam is recovering from cycle camping/sea kayaking trip to Anglesey so Sat is out for us but we plan to arrive Sat pm and race Sunday...failing that I'll insist he drags his carcass out early Sunday morning to get there early enough...forecast looks well nigh perfect

Spraying completed by 6pm. Unfortunately some muppet missed his flight from Edinburgh and had to get a later one. Now on the road. Thornbury here we come. Sorry if we wake anyone up pitching tent in the dark.
