Carbon begging!

Hi guys,

I am need of some carbon to finish of a repair job, but have run out and only need a v small quantity, so was hoping I could have/buy some offcuts instead of buying a massive quantity of the internet

Basically I need a small amount of carbon tow, and some patches of 3k, although it isnt really important as long as it is woven cloth.

And lastly, does anyone have any of that black pigment you use to turn your filler/resin carbon black- I have run out of that too!

It's a postcode. It is short for 'East', which is short for 'East London' in this case. The one (in this case) means it is the closest one to the centre.

If you can find your way here (typing E1 into google maps is an easy way), you are very welcome to the carbon parts you need. I've never done any carbon bike-work (though I have cycled couple of miles over the years, including about 5 this morning on my no-composites bike).

Hmmm. Piers, the British Sign Language sign for Reading is waving one's palms across in front of the eyes, as if one is, well, reading!

Anyway - how much area of weave do you need? (and roughly how much tow?). If I get a nanosecond to myself I may get a chance. If you get what you need by direct blaggability from someone else, let me know. I also need to know your postal address.

Hmm, whatever you are willing to give me?  I need roughly around 2 strips of 10cmx5cm of weave, and a fair amount of tow I imagine, probs enough to re-inforce a 15cm long crack.. so maybe up and down that a few times. Anything I don't use I can post back to you.

I have PM'ed you my postal address.  If you post it let me know, otherwise I will have to hunt some other stuff down for this Thursday...
