This was a riot last year. Team Trim will be putting it in the diary.

After the Nats at Lee the sail across does not really seem that hard (we nearly did it on every lap on the last race).

I have an exam on the Monday, which means I'm out, unless someone wants a crew for just saturday.

I was really looking forwards to this, great club (and awesome food)

Just realised I've been chatting about this on another (wrong) thread.

We are hoping to get to this one and happy to be involved with getting multiple Cherubs across, stacking and/or roof topping. Roof topping takes our Espace over the 2m height, so it justs costs a little more.

Sailing club is next door to ferry terminal the other end so a short trip padded and lashed on top of another boat on a trailer seems achievable. I'm sure Loco would swallow an E5, E6 or Banshee (on or off the water)  :)

Ferry crossing is about £100 currently for a crossing 9pm on Friday returning 6pm Sunday.

Is it likely to go up if booking closer to the weekend of the event?

I'll contact RVSC as last year they had a deal with the ferry company.

If you can't camp at the Royal Vic, there is a field of sorts on the other side of the spit as you head up the creek towards Wooton...   ;)  (Last time I visited it looked like being developed but worth a shot)

Can we have a list of all those intending to take a Boat/Car combo as the club will try to sort some discounted ferry travel, I will leave this for a couple of days before I get back to them so please post if your going.

They are looking into the issue of camping for us.

As an aside the PRO will be Martin Harrison ( ex Cherub Sailor )

I am intending to go, what wheels go with me I havnt a clue. I'm not against the idea of sailing across if we can stuff a car full of drystuff.
