So can we expect to see him at the nationals?

Chez Lee, or just generally Londonish?

Chez Lee. The plan is for him to be at the nationals, possibly with one or both of Mrsdrlee and/or me sailing.

Any plans for fixing the deck? I fear my patching up may not have been as good as it should have been.

When I have a moment (ha!) I will have a look. Luckily there are numerous hatches, so no vandalism required to look at everything.

Can you let me know where your patches were?

The ply was coming up from the deck with rig tension. I patched it back down again with a bit of carbon to get it water tight before the nationals and never finished it. It was patched from the outside so should be obvious (port side of mast foot). There were also another couple in the tanks which were within easy reach of the hatches so should be easy to find.

On the back of the foredeck? I have seen that. It's still there. Thanks,

It will be great to see Flat Stanley on the water again and especially at the anniversary nationals.

Yes - we are looking forward to it:

Flat Stanley  - Check!
Us - Check!
Accom - Check! (Kingfisher caravan park)
Childcare - Check!

Now all we need is big winds.

Oh yes here is Ross and me in Flat Stanley in not much very wind in Jan 2008:

http://www.sailingsource.com/cherub/GPSAR/gpsar.php?filename=KGSC-20080126a.gpx&maps=maps/kgsc.maps
17.1 knots I think is the maximum we got that day.

It is looking like Wandrous may be coming to the nationals too!
Wandrous is Cherub 98 (698 on sails because the 6 was added when the international numbering came in) - still sailing - no spinnaker) and she needs a crew who is not too heavy and likes a pretty and sedate vessel. Any takers to make history? (And very likely to get the wooden boat prize!)
