Had a reply from the commodore of Filey today. We would be very welcome and get our own start/fleet status if we have more than 6 boats.

Hi Jason, sorry, but I dont think there are (If I'm wrong someone will correct me here) - we made a decision to go to Filey later in the year where I'd expect at least 8 of us

Come on guys, roll up roll up, we need some boats at events this year. As far as I can see the nost northern of the 4 boats listed is Ronin.

We're 60 this year, and especially when we travel places where there are many other fleets, we need to show some strength, so come on guys !

Have a double stacker and will be heading from Bristol on the Thursday PM. Coming back via york.
Can take a boat - but probably not too handy for the crew!

Looks like real life is getting in the way of sailing again. I was very much hoping to get to Filey but the pressures of too many children and not enough help have probably put a stop to that. For all you fellow sufferers out there it does get better - but not quite yet! Should be OK for the Nats. though - mother-in-law coming to stay so I can get away. Yee-haa!

What about Flat Stanley? He's somewhere about York these days isn't he? Just along the road from Filey.

The Flat Stanley has migrated to London, dont think he's ready for Filey, but we're hoping to see him later in the year.
