I've got an ex Halo alloy boom in the Garage. The gooseneck fitting ripped out, so you'd need to grab three feet or so of an other boom section and rivet it in firmly to give you a gooseneck. Wouldn't be long enough for a 2005 rig.

I have a superspars tin rig and boom both in good condition. I haven't touched it since buying Slippery so would gladly sell it for the right price.

I can tell you about that...I built it!

It's a piece of RS800 mast, beefed up with UD at the business end and weave all over.  There are carbon guide thingies for mainsheet and kicker, and it's set up to take a tubular RS800 style gooseneck.

It's actually the one pictured on SB on the front page of the main site at the moment, and you WILL NOT break it!

Slippery's boom is also made from a bit of old RS800 mast.   I fear landing on it for the damage it will do to me and not the damage to the boom.

If everthing exploded into a cloud of carbon I think the boom would be the last to go.
