Er, please can we have Saturday's temperature with Sunday's wind?

And if you think my first sail in 6 months is going to involve the foredeck (intentionally) you're very very wrong.

It's got to be Sunday, at least you can enjoy being cold.

You need to be at home finishing the new boat for the open.

What can I say? - it was short, but very sweet.

Solid force 5. Temperature: very cold. Born Slippy weather. A single lap of the lake including a storming spinnaker run before my arms gave out and decided better not overdo it. (Roland then went out with Rich and came back grinning and very cold).

Conclusions: Running might be good for fitness but arm strength and speed are lost very quickly. This week's gym sessions will mainly involve one armed pull ups!

Born Slippy is awesome. Just in case I needed reminding.

Well that weekend went quickly.

Saturday, team Trim spent the day at home. This was mainly due to me spending a prolonged period of time sensitive to light and talking on the white telephone.

Sunday.
Problems: Very Cold. Windy. Dangerously close to a second viewing of breakfast.
Solution : Park Evo in boat park, take Born Slippy

An epic sail on the lake. First Hayley and then Rich Hole taking the wire as Born Slippy delivered what she does best - i.e. going seriously quickly in a blow. Will be grinning for days.

NUMPTY!  (LOST). Re chew open - long time back - i think i may have left my bouyancy aid (neil Pryde) and (musto) medium red harness lying around somewhere drying in the sun on the Sunday after it was cancelled.
The bouyancy aid has ADE WHITE written across the front pocket.  (the most worrying thing is that it has Sweet Dreamzzz bungs in the pocket)!
Could any nice Chew person have a gander, when they are down there, in the lost property dept to see if they are there. BEERS ready for the winner at the next open if found... Cheers Ade.

Was looking through the bins on Sunday - Hayley also left Chew without her BA. Not sure I saw anything answering...

Ade - I've just spotted your BA on a list of lost property after BUSA Team Racing Finals which was the week or two after the cherub open there. Someone from one of the local clubs picked it up.

If you send me a message with your details il put you in touch so you can be reunited!

Ade: I've sent your contact details to the chap with your BA so he should be in touch soon. If not let me know and i'll chase him up.

Roland: I think Hayley might be out of luck as theres no other unclaimed BAs on the list (Copied below just in case anyone is also missing some woolen tights or a headband)

Light sail at Chew on Sunday saw Croote/Jarmain in Mamite vs Clements/Trim in Marmite.
A close race with the following statistics:

                                                                 Marmite  :  Shiny
Capsizes                                                       1               1
Swearing at incompetent crew                     0               4
Marmite eating Shiny upwind                        3              0
Stuffed tacks from main in too early             1(?)           0
Shiny pipping Marmite on the line
(From above tack)                                         1               0
