I'm thinking about it. And would if I didn't have the mill stone of a family Mirror to keep going.

Dye the sails red and I am pretty sure no one would notice... well not till you had to negotiate putting the kite pole up or gybing!

It would be a good boat at BSC, and Luke can improve his trapeze skills quicker. But I am also trying to find him a crew for the Mirror to do Opens / Squads in that, so we are currently upgrading the Mirror rig and foils. Another wooded boat may be a bridge to far, having just spent about 3 weeks sanding / repainting / varnishing / epoxying our Mirror after last winters efforts at destroying it. If the Cherub didn't need work I may have gone for it for short term use?

Daryl, I think i have probably worded it badly, the cherub dosn`t need any work it is in good condition and everything is in working order.  What I meant is I would rather sell it now rather than in a year or so when it will start to need a little work.

Tim, we have gone old school! And have bought 2619! Where is everyone getting there insurance from for classic rules boats? Has the class negotiated a different rate for old boats with any company?

Noble wanted full rates for Flat Stanley so I ended up going third party when I had it. I would be keen to hear anyone elses experiences.
