Sweet Dreams on ebay
« on: April 11, 2010, 09:59:47 AM »
Just thought i'd post up incase anyone is interested, Sweet Dreams is for sale on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UK-Cherub-2663-Sweet-Dreams-Sailing-Dinghy-Skiff_W0QQitemZ140398005326QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Sporting_Goods_Sailing_Boats_ET?hash=item20b05f8c4e.  It is a good solid boat and has given me some really amazing rides in the last few years.  Unfortunately with my home club being a puddle and needing the funds for a house deposit its looking like she will have to find another owner who can enjoy her more.

I'd also like to use this as an opportunity to present a massive thank you to everyonein the class  who has helped me over the years, from rigging techniques through to fixing holes and using carbon. To anyone looking to join the class, i have never met a more enthusiastic friendly bunch of people.  If you're thinking of getting into the class, you could do a lot worse things, go a lot slower and probably not have half the fun as sailing a Cherub..

Hi Matt,

Good luck with your brick-and-mortar project! Keep in touch and I hope to see you on or off the water soon. Don't forget there is often need for crews/helms - especially at nationals time.

Best,

Will

Good luck Matt. I've posted a link to your auction on the Sailing Anarchy forum as there is a lad there interested in getting into skiff sailing. The more exposure the better, and there are a fair few visitors to that forum!

Might be a good idea to put some up to date pictures on this site. Saves the ebay picture fees. You could put a link through to ebay too.
