New to England would like to get on a propper boat.
« on: January 25, 2010, 09:40:11 PM »
Hi

Just moved to the uk from South Africa.  I worked over there for North sails in the design office and for Harken as a techie.  I'm looking to get into some sailing over here.

I have experince on fireballs, 505 and hobie tigers and the normal slow one man boats.....  laser.......  and lots of miles on keel boats.

I'm 24.  70kg  i think thats 11 stone.  am fairly fit and very nimble on the wire.

I'm looking for same propper dinghy sailing. I am based in Fleet hampshire but can drive to where the sailing is.   Very keen.  Don't have cash to buy a boat right away but would like to do some sailing anyway.

please get hold of me on [email protected]

thanks

Look out for the post dinghy show blast and other events.

You sound like a useful helm or crew for someone.

Maybe you could get to the blast at Draycote, I'm sure we could sort out a sail.
