Reminds me of the comedy moment at Largo Bay when we launched their rib only to find that it could only do a straight line.  They soon got it fixed though.

I would quite like to sail but that does not someone else driving it. If I cant make the weekend then it can still be borrowed. BTW no insurance so dont run anyone over

I will bring the HD cam again, best to have yours there too Si as the one i will have is a bit of a battery hog, it is shaping up to be a good end of season blast with eleanor, auntie, RV, ronin and me in the imposter sk4, hopefully the wind will blow and the sun will shine, but that may be too much to ask for the last day of october!

You can sail over low water, and it means there is loads of beach space.

It's not looking good for me/us, but we may be watching via the webcam.

In fact, can you try to rig and derig in view of the webcam and I will try to do a time lapse like this one:

If you rig between the extension of the slip and the post you will be well in shot.

When you see it its striking how long Laser sailors leave their sails flapping in the wind. And then complain that they clap out too quickly!

Looks like 10knots of the blowsy stuff. Manageable but not epic.

We aim to be there around 10ish.

I got to revise the RV status to 50/50 - cant leave home till 12ish sunday, so I think that means take the boat and rig it Sat ... and still only make it out by 1.30 earliest .... all a bit of a kafuffle - what time are people launching ?
