I plan to sail for as long as possible, including the race at 2pm. Sounds like you'll be launching just in time to race!

I hope you all have a great time on sunday at whitstable. I saw this on sailing anarchy and thought it would be worth a look for whoever is videoing at the weekend. It is a moth promo, the important thing is that the camera is in stationary boat and the moths all move around it. It gives an immediate feeling of speed and the camera is not moving around much. Great footage.

I may be finished by lunch time and will try to get down to come out in the RIB.

The wind did not blow and the sun did not shine, but we will be back again next weekend, which day did we decide on? I believe the boats in attendance will be eleanor, riot van, sk4 and maybe ronin, anyone else? I still have the video cam and my still camera available

You would have been welocme at Chew? The sun was out accompanied with a gentle 2-4 right down the lake. 3 teabags in the lulls was cold.

Only snag is that the Bristolians have stolen most of the water  :-) .

We suggested Sunday as there is no club racing on Saturday. The race starts at 11.00 on Sunday

Had an awesome sail with Will today in a fresh north easterly of around 15 knots. We blasted up and down completing a lap in around 15 mins, there were lots of white horses and some serious air time was achieved.
Will when you download the GPS let me know how fast we were going, and thanks for a great sail.

Here it is on Map My Tracks.

Best speed was 15 point something knots, apparently.

We had a light wind Easter sail this year with a 2.5 hour marathon 6 lap non shortenable W/L on Friday. We finished last boat through the line, but won by 9mins on corrected time.
Saturday started just as slow and a Musto managed to get away from us, by the time the wind picked up to
Just twinable it had too big a lead we ended 2nd.
On Sunday the wind was even lighter if that's possible. We finished 2nd to a 49er on the water but not sure of corrected time as we had to leave before the results were put up.
I am just starting to feel normal and uncramped at last, that boat really is small compared to Loco!
