We've had an enquiry about an old T-Shirt design and wondered if anyone can help, please see below:

"This is a bit random, but I wonder if you can find a reference back in the Cherub archives for me, or perhaps an older sailor might remember.. One year at the Show, the Cherub's Assoc. were selling t-shirts and sweatshirts with your logo and a verse which copied a Coke/Pepsi advert on TV at the time. The one that starts: Lip smacking, thirst quenching, ace tasting, motivating  etc etc..

It was a brilliant version! I was only thinking about this the other day and would love to recall, out of curiosity what it said. (regretably, didnt buy the shirt at the time).

Regards Gill"

If anyone can help that would be great!

I had one of those, actually it was a red sweatshirt with the coke-style Cherub slogan on it. I think the association had them printed up around 1990. Can't remember the exact wording though! I'll try and find an old photo of me wearing the thing this weekend and see if it's readable.

Hi Neil, fantastic, if you can find a photo that would be brilliant.
Does anyone still have one hanging around in the back of the cupboard?
Interesting it was around 1990's (40th Birthday) maybe we can refresh the idea for the 70th birthday.

The photo OliverG posted is the same as the sweatshirt I had. It was a play on the Coca Cola wording, but also the red / white colour scheme. Great find Oli!
