as a summer has gone, and a cold winter rolls in, i have come to the realisation im just not going to have the time or space to sort out my cherub project and give her the love she deserves.
shes is a Italian Bistro design, built is E-glass, the hull is stiff!!
Doesnt look like it has had masses of use, however it has then sat in a barn for some time, and in my car port for the last 6 months.
I have removed the paint from the foredeck., the bow on the starboard side, and the thwarts.
The trolley is immaculate, by the looks of it it very rarely ever saw salt water, if at all.
The rig is a twin spreader, 91 rules. Single trap but is fitted with take offs for twin wire. Looks to all be in good shape, bottom spreaders are the cool anodised blue selden ones. RWO muscle box fitted for rig tension which operates off a wire luff jib halyard. Boom is in great nick, square section ally jobby.
Includes a full set of sails, Batts IIRC in dacron, which are useable, but not great. Kite is again useable but not great, it is hole free from what i can tell!
Foils - rudder is a lovely bloodaxe carbon one, daggerboard is a low aspect wooden number, I14 board available by separate negotiation (its not strictly mine)
Work that i know needs doing - finish sanding and repaint hull & foredeck. Fill in holes in gunwhale. Refit gantry, paint spaceframe, few blocks and rope. Reinforce centreboard box, preferably make up a new one.
PRICE - £200 ONO this is to cover what i think the rudder and trolley are worth. If you dont want the rudder and trolley you can have it FOC, so long as you get it sorted and on the water.
