Anyone know if the club will be open Friday to drop off/rig boats?

Doesn't matter if is is or isn't - the boats will be outside on the prom with the club boats - I expect there will be an obvious space cleared.   We will be down early Friday evening and the club will for sure be open in the evening.

To expand a bit on Andy's reply.  The club does not have it's own compound.  We use the council boat slots.  When you arrive, turn left into the (council) Knab Rock car park and then drive onto the 'knuckle' - ahead a few metres then bear left - use the railings to tie your boat down if necessary.

The club itself will be open from about 5pm.

In the photo below the Knuckle is to the right of the slip, the club is just visible in blue on the opposite side of the road.  Ther eis a pub called The Pilot just down the road towards Mumbles :)

I have a main and jib which haven't been measured, but I don't think I will be sailing with them as they are oversize for 97 rules

Just a thought.
Would it be worth doing a group picture at some point.
People come and go and all that stuff.
Very old man thought I know

You say club is only open from 5pm, is there anything stopping us from going for an afternoon sail?

Hi Ed,

No, nothing at all :)  If you don't like the look of the slip (it can be tricky in some winds) shown in the photo above, there is a friendlier slip the other end of the car park down by the cats - walk towards the light-house (watch your mast with the telegraph wires).

I'll be around form 5pm (but not in MYC) - feel free to call me if you or anybody else has any queries - Colin on 07504 104948 - today and throughout the event...

Look forward to seeing you all.
