Not sure if there is any photographic evidence of the maiden voyage, but we took it out today for a few hours and I can only say that I am thoroughly pleased. 3 hours on the water and there were no creaks, growns or snags of any kind whatsoever. Amazingly we launched the boat straight into the race and didn't have to worry about the boat all race. Few tweaks to do for tomorrow but nothing major, need plenty more lowers and D2's to power up the lower half of the rig (the boat was previously stumped, so setting up the lowers was best guess yesterday with the fid on the beach) and will need to do something to the cunningham to align the blocks a bit better, and also since putting on a shorter gantry Kate was a bit put out that the tiller extension was perilously close to her face!
