Hi Ade, We are interested in this too. I know the Llyn quite well but don't know any sites at Pwllheli. I believe the Trim's are already booked in somewhere and detail is in a thread somewhere on this site...

Sam may be doing 3 peaks the w/e of the Thornbury open but I will go anyway (either cadge a ride or beg someone to crew for me) and we are planning to be at the Weston Open as part of our summer hoilday in Swanage...no, really it's nicer than it sounds.

It was Simon Jones, not the Trims. He posted this:

We are in the haven holiday park just a short distance from the sailing club, it has the added bonus of loads of non sailing activities for the family.

My crew and I are planning to camp, on the nearest unexposed patch of grass to the boat. (Less effort in the morning..)
I am going to sleep in the boat one event to see if its as comfy as my laser 2...   :D

Team Lee & Team Barnes are booked into a house on the beach somewhere.

Holiday property seems to be getting booked up fast. We used a website called 'Shaws'.

We have a nice little cottage which is attached to a health spa... post racing sauna and hot tub?!

They did have a few other properties on site also for larger groups so if people are still looking I can find a link.

I'm still looking, but seeing as I have no idea how many of team atum are able to attend, I am finding it hard to book anything.
Probably looking to camp but if there is a reasonable cottage then that would be pretty good. I have had a look but there isn't much within stumbling distance of the sailing club!

Hopefully I will be there in Cheese, and will be in a tent somewhere close by... is there camping at the club?

This seems to be the closest:

http://www.abererch-sands.co.uk/where.html

and:

http://www.haven.com/ (look up Hafan y Mor)

I phoned Gimblet Rock (right next to harbour) but they don't do tents or touring vans

When we spoke to phwelli at the dinghy show they do not have any land where people can camp . They do allow campervans though.

I think you need to book a camp site if you have a tent.
