Standing Rigging
« on: January 04, 2020, 04:45:25 PM »
Hi all,

I'm starting to think about recommissioning Dangerous Beans 2673.

What are the go to options for standing rigging these days, still dyform or have people enjoyed success with anything more exitic?

Thanks, TK

Hey Tom,
Excellent news!

Having looked through the 2017 nationals album on fb:
Shrouds: everyone uses wire
D’s: 50%wire 50% dyneema (if you have them)
Caps: 80%wire 20% dyneema (if you have them)
Lowers: most are dyneema.

Hope that helps.
Thanks
Jamie

Thanks for that, will likely stick to dyform in that case.

Cheers, TK,

We had dyform on the shrouds and SK78 everywhere else.
