An over crowded pond with crap acces to the slipways nowhere to rig and very trickky launching . A forcast for single digits on the wind speed and temerature is not the best place to show off a modern cherub.

The BM was better than forecast suggested, we had plenty of twin wiring both upwind and down, but really paid the price in the light wind bits and in amongst the traffic which seemed to coincide with the light bits. Launching and recovery was easy as there was plenty of people around to lift us straight in.  We arrived at 11am and drove out again at 4pm without a problem or holdup.

Well worth the effort in the end, not sure that our result is correct though but it doesn't really matter to be honest.

Hey big chopper, I don't know who you are but instead of snide posts why don't you turn up in a Cherub and add to the numbers?

Who are you? Have you been to any cherub event ever? Maybe you should not bother with an attitude like this

Chopperado is the lucky owner of LFC and a growing fleet of '97 rigged boats on the East coast.

Mr Kiddle shame on you (and I should add you have not been on a Cherub start line what must be over a year).  I think you actually meant to the opposite - come along to an event and play. At least this shows one thing - we are passionate about the ikle boats we hammer about lakes and sea....

I agree, it is a poor showing - well done the disciples for braving the traffic - Chopper is right to give us a tongue in cheek kick up the backside.

I'm guilty as charged of feeling like Clive, wanted to be there ..... but a mixture of frankly movable objects got in the way - however we must be careful of moaning about the general perception of Cherubs if we don't take them places where we can be seen ... I feel the shame now ...
