Grafham Grand Prix - 2nd January 2012
« on: December 06, 2011, 02:31:33 PM »
The 31st Grafham Grand Prix will take place on 2nd January 2012.

The Cherubs will be sailing off a PY of 880!!! A compliment indeed.

Smaller sails, smaller kite, older boat. If we take born slippy I'm guessing we'd be ungentlemanly to offer to sail off more than 750  ;D

Anyway both rule sets need the lower handicap to offset the amount of fun we get afloat.

At the moment clubs are not listing separate handicaps for Cherubs and 97 Rules Cherubs.

Humm if they use the same PY for starting the bloody Mary we may not have to worry about catching and passing the slower boats.

I heard that for the sail juice winter warm up series they were going to be a bit harder on development boats PY's. It would be interesting what they have set for the 14's.
