Unfortunately Usagi can't make this one but who will be going? As with Rutland this is a multi class skiff event with the same fleets (minus the 4000's). We had 6 at Rutland with an even mix of 05 and 97 rules.
Post your attendance here.

I'll be around if people need crew. I have not worked out if i will sail my boat yet. (need to fix the boat still after long off season break from sailing)
-
Eleanor should be at this one, really looking forward to getting back on the circuit after a bit of a break.
-
I emailed the club, for any hardy types there is free camping in the club on Friday and Saturday night.
Who else is thinking of going?
-
If we are going to be sailing on our own, we will probably give this a miss. If anyone else is attending then let us know.
-
I'll work to get my boat together. but can only do Saturday. due to a hockey cup final on Sunday.
it would really be good to get a few boats out so that we get invited back next year. Took a bit of begging to get us in this year so don't want to let it down with a no show from the class.
Anybody else able to make it?
-
Did anyone go? If so, how was it?
-
Unfortunately neither of 2 local boats made it, refurb of Dan's Boat overran schedule and Nick also unable to make it. I don't think we upset the club too much as they had a busy weekend with Skiffs and 800s. By their reports (below) we missed a good if somewhat challenging sail. If people are keen I can ask for another invite next year.

We need to get some input from the class as for the last two years there has been very few (1/2) or no boats coming to a Solent based open meeting. (Weston 2018 and Stokes Bay 2019)
Before we look to arrange something for next year, Do people want a solent base open meetings? Were we to arrange an event again for next year will we get more than just the 2 local based boats?
please let us know your thoughts so we can try cater for you as sailors and what type of racing you want.
thanks

It is worth considering the Hayling Whitsun Regatta.
You will be in the handicap so low turnout is not such a risk.
