Title: Queen Mary Files
Post by: Stuberry on September 26, 2010, 06:11:35 PM
Nick and I went sailing at Queen Mary yesterday. There was a gusty F3 from the North so it was bitterly cold. We sailed up and down several times, just getting used to things.

We plan to join for the winter and sail most weekends. Membership is half price from 1st October and boat storage is included for free. If two adults register at the same address, you can have the "Family membership" which is £180, including the berth. Individual membership is £125 and day sailing is £16 per day.

There are 2 races every Sunday.

Thought things sounded a bit crowded at Stewberry Mansions. At least we all now know who the second toothbrush belongs to?

Unfortunately the same loop hole does not exist for membership of the cherub class.

An interesting concept though :-)

Nick and I are sailing at QM on Saturday 30th from around 10am.

There is the British America's Cup on at the same time, attracting lots of spectators so could be an opportunity to show off the class.
