Title: Sail Making
Post by: pratn0 on September 01, 2010, 01:09:03 PM
Hi

Most of you guys saw the sail i made for Dave and I at the nationals.   I'm not the best sail maker but can make a very usable fast product cheaply.   I'm saving to get back to south Africa in December and though i could offer my services to guys in the class to help me to make some extra cash.

I'm will be happy to do any small sail repairs as well as new sails.   (these will hopefully be using similar cloth to that of Roland. )  This will not be at loft prices as i have very low overheads and my main aim is to get to south africa in december.

Please PM if anybody is interested in taking me up on this.

I can confirm that it was a very cool looking sail, and obviously worked nicely as Shiny showed us a clean pair of heels most of the week!

Nick, I am not in a position to enlist your services this week but you will be at the top of my list when the time comes!

Technora for the jib, I think that's what the main is IIRR. re-cutting the the luff curve on the main for the mast.
