Title: What is a "Blast"
Post by: roland_trim on February 24, 2010, 08:16:32 PM
I was hoping to put something behind the image on the front page of the WIki explaining what a "blast" with the Cherub Fleet involves. There used to be a good write up, but I think that went down the wiki drain a bit back. Anyone care to share some thoughts?

It's just like an open meeting - but without any races to interfere with the blasting.

An opportunity to practice, try out new ideas or just see how fast your boat will go with out a leeward mark to spoil the fun.

great social.

opportunity to swap ideas and meet other cherub sailors.

No other class that I know of does this. I can't think why
