Who's is this? http://www.fastcomposites.ca/products/details.php?p=CH01R and what was it like working with a company across the pond?
-
My guess is that this has something to do with that Craig guy in Nova Scotia.
-
I didn't know anyone except me had done one with the straight leading edge like that.....
-
Umm.. must be Craig then as it doesn't sound like they have actually done "quite a lot of custom work for the cherub class" as the web page says ;)
-
One of the guys is Phil from Philsfoils.
-
umm... I knew the company who made it was 'Phils Foils' just wondered who had ordered one. Are you saying Phil from 'Phils Foils' is making a Cherub?
-
No.
-
I got a set of T-foil mold plugs made for me by them.
-
Are... cool. Are they good to work with? Did you supply the off sets for the molds or did they have input?
-
They were pretty easy to work with, I supplied a 3D cad model of the foil I wanted and they used that to mill the plugs. They gave some good advice on what needed to be done to make them.
If you want you can get them to do as much of the design work and build work as you want, you just have to pay for their time.
