Title: Trapeze lines - latest thinking

Hello, what’s the latest thinking for replacement trapeze lines? What material and diameter range?
Would something like this work?
2.5MM MARLOW EXCEL D12 DYNEEMA

I had 1.5mm for a bit, but they snapped so now running 3mm minimum.

Thank you Dave and Jamie, that’s good to know. 
Jimmy mentioned having an adjustable section spliced into the lines…I’ve bought a splicing kit and I’m learning the basics, but what is the splice needed for the adjustable section in the trap line? Any videos or previous posts on this?
