Title: Everest 1 Mould
Post by: Phil Alderson on June 14, 2021, 08:20:08 PM
I currently have the mould for building an Everest 1 hull sitting in my garden. It is covered but is deteriorating. We are planning to come to the Nationals and if anyone is interested in getting hold of the mould then I could take it down with me.

I think Clive's design is quick and the build method using the precut flat panels is probably about the fastest and eisiest way to build a Cherub at the moment.

I don't think the mould  will survive another winter and I could do with recovering the space so If there is no interest then I will probably chop it up and take the remains to the tip.

Hi Phil,

What is the situation of this mould now? Did it lose a fight to a chainsaw quicker than you can say 'Black&Decker'?

No it is still in existance, it would need a bit of cleaning up before use but I think it is still OK

Hi Phil,
Is this still up North?

Afraid it is no longer in existence. It started coming apart and I needed the space back so it was cut up and went to the tip.
