Morning all,
Squid is in need of a boom to fit her new sails and rig, does anyone have one I could borrow for nationals or buy please? Her old ali one simply isn't long enough.
Thank you
Jimmy

Bits of old I14 or RS800 mast are likely to be your best bet at this stage.
How long does it need to be? I have some bits that I could bring to the nationals if you cannot get anything before then.
-
what goosneck fitting do you need? I have madges you could use?
-
Thanks Clive, I'll take a measure today and let you know.
Greg, I think its just a round one? I'll message you.

I have a spare boom, I could bring it down, but you would not see it till Sat.
-
Hi Phil, if you can bring that would be great, thank you.

I can but not sure if the gooseneck will work. It has a tang for one of the stainless steel goosenecks bonded into it, but is missing the middle bit.

Jimmy: Did you get a boom sorted out in the end? I have an I14 boom you might be interested in.
Double tapered (Widest around the kicker take off, narrower at both ends)
Pretty light and bare tube so ready to fit out as you need.
Currently in Winchester but can deliver to Hamble area.
