Lymington Town Sailing Club invites
sailors and their families and friends to participate in the
LTSC Regatta
Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th August 2008
open to any Class - 6 entries separate results
12 entries separate start if requested
Racing is in the Western Solent within a few miles of the entrance to the Lymington River
Competitors are advised to allow at least 30 minutes to sail to the start area and should be aware that the slipway and river will be busy
Six races are scheduled - 3 back to back each day
first race starts no earlier than 1130hrs on 9 August
Racing will finish in time for all to participate in a BBQ which
will be followed by the LTSC Bath Race and Prizegiving
Any dinghy sailor is welcome to join in the
Bank Holiday races at Lymington (click on Dinghy Racing near top of page) or the LTSC Dinghy Cruises (click Dinghy Cruises link near top of page).
Notice to Parents/Guardians of Children under 18 years old
LTSC is a family club and children are welcome, however please note that parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times.
Children under 18 may only participate if their Parents/Guardians have completed and signed the LTSC Parental/Guardian Disclaimer Form 2008

Roz & I are planning to race the Sunday only.
(Probably be there holding the baby on the Saturday!)
3 races each day. 11.30 start Saturday. 10.30 start Sunday. Allow 1/2 hour to sail out to start.

How did the qweekend go - was LTSC as ballistic as the rest of the UK?

average of 33knts gusting 39 with wind against tide...
basically that both days
tore my friends jib in two :(

We went out in the 3000 in Hastings. We sunk it.
